This is my first attempt at some serious accountability to lose weight. I have been having some health issues lately and I am starting to get scared.
I decided to start this blog so I can track my journey to being healthy, along with losing some weight.
Here are my current stats for 3/31/2018.
Current Stats:
Height: 5 ft 3 inches
Weight: 185.4 lbs
BMI: 32.9
The BMI was calculated from the scale. I think the scale used to give a body fat percentage and a water saturation percentage..then it got an update and only gives a BMI.
Why am I doing this?
I decided to do this because I have been hypoglycemic for a while. If you don't know, this means that my blood sugar levels have been low and drop to low levels quickly.In simple terms it means I am constantly 'hangry'.
My grandmother had high blood pressure and diabetes and my father recently was diagnosed with early stages of diabetes as well. I would like to take control of my health so that I do not end up on medication or with serious health issues.
I did go to the doctor to get some blood drawn and they will be running a few tests.
I'll include the results when I get them next week, along with any updates to my stats.
